Speakers

Sue Vago is a creative director with over 20 years experience in print and digital media. Over the last 10 years she has built product design teams at The Economist, The Financial Times and now Condé Nast. She loves to focus on solving problems and creating teams that put users and the content at the heart of the experience.

Chris Pearson is a product designer with a strong focus on design systems thinking and crafting usable experiences. Over the last 12 years Chris has helped shape digital products at some of the UK’s most loved organisations, including the Guardian and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Chris joined Condé Nast as Design Lead in 2018.
During the meetup, his talk will address whether a standardised approach to design can support the needs of a multi brand, multi language publisher.

Anny Chien is a digital product designer with a passion for resolving user pain points through seamless designs. She has worked on projects for major brands such as HTC, Estee Lauder, Jo Malone, Darphin, and Conde Nast.
Apart from work, she is also a cat enthusiast. You can follow her cat @angel_and_snow

Rita Quigley has been a researcher for more than 25 years, and she draws from the full range of both quantitative and qualitative research methods to resolve the biggest challenges facing Foolproof’s global clients.
Rita makes a case for and talks to the advantages of localisation, as well as the many approaches brands can take to ensure their offerings land well across geographies.

Bill Tribble is a UX and Product Design Lead who has worked with some big companies like Adobe and Google – and many startups (some via Toptal). He also teaches, and has worked as lead instructor at General Assembly and Designlab. Outside design, he likes to make music, write, and speak. He’s also very motivated by the ethics of technology, and is a Tech Pledge signee.
At the meetup he will be sharing what he learnt working on the Asian release of a mobile music project while working with a Tokyo startup.
