Meet Sandra, Host of Mobile UX London Conference
“Use UX for good in order to positively impact the world”

The Mobile UX London Team sat down to have a brief chat with Sandra (Host of Mobile UX London Conference) to discover  what makes her tick and the great plans she has in store for you all at the conference. Here’s what she had to say…

Which presentations are you most looking forward to hearing about on the day?

Well of course the entire line up looks amazing. I‘m thrilled to see how the conference has developed  from experiences in mobile device to include virtual world and mixed reality experiences. I’m specifically keen in listening to Hara talk about her work at Just Giving because it is something I am extremely passionate about UX in non-profits, hence why I founded UX for Change.

I’m also hoping to catching up with old friends, make new ones and enjoy the atmosphere of having so many brilliant UX practitioners come together to share knowledge and make connections that could go a long way.

Can you tell us more about the lightening talks?

This is a part of the conference that i’m really excited about as it combines audience participation along with sharing knowledge. The lightening talks will be taking place after lunch and requires audience members to speak for 5 minutes. This allows them to share information on current projects and gain experience public speaking. I’ll be taking submissions in advance and will help to curate slides and provide guidance well in advance of the event.

How to obtain your 5 minutes of fame! – Mobile UX London Conference

We’re now accepting submissions  and you can contact us(here) if you’re interested in presenting a lightening talk and receive coaching from Sandra free of charge to assist you in delivering your lightening talk.
